# Set up a page redirect

> Use page redirects to send visitors from a page to an external URL. This is useful when you want a menu item or page to link outside your site.

Use page redirects to send visitors from a page to an external URL. This is useful when you want a menu item or page to link outside your site.

## How to redirect a page

1. Open the page you want to redirect in the page editor.
2. Enter the destination URL in the **Page Redirect: Optional** field.
3. If you want the link to open in a new browser tab, check **Open in new window**.
4. Save your changes.

Once configured, visitors who navigate to this page will be automatically sent to the external URL you specified.
