How to Password Protect a Page
Setting Up Password Protection
- Navigate to your pages: Log in to your Dunked account and go to the Pages section in your dashboard.
- Access the page settings: Either create a new page or edit an existing one.
- Enable password protection: In the page settings, locate the "Password Protect" section. Toggle the switch to enable password protection.
- Set a password: Once enabled, you'll see a password field appear. Enter a secure password that you'll share with those who need access to your page.
- Save your changes: Click the "Save" or "Update" button to apply the password protection to your page.
Using Private Shareable Links for Pages
Creating Private Links for Pages
- Enable password protection: Private links are only available when password protection is enabled.
- Access the private links section: After saving your page with password protection enabled, you'll see the "Private shareable links" section.
- Create a new link: Click the "Create link" button to generate a new private link.
- Configure link settings (optional):
- Set an expiration date for the link
- Limit the number of times the link can be used
- Share the link: Copy the generated link and share it with your intended recipient. When they use this link, they'll bypass the password screen and gain immediate access to your page.
Managing Private Links for Pages
Viewing Link Activity
Each private link shows usage statistics, allowing you to monitor:
- How many times the link has been used
- Whether it has expired or reached its usage limit
Editing or Deleting Links
- Copy link: Click the copy icon to quickly copy the link to your clipboard
- Delete link: Remove links that are no longer needed by clicking the delete icon

- Exclusive content: Offer premium content to select audiences
- Work in progress: Share pages that are still being developed with team members or clients for feedback
